This is a slower paced class that works deeply into connective tissues through the extended holding of asanas (postures), typically 3-5 minutes. Targeting especially the hips, pelvis and lower spine, this practice emphasizes deep tissue opening and restoration. The connection between body and mind is supported through contemplative practice during extended asanas and is ideal for those interested in exploring a meditative experience. Utilizing props such as blocks, bolsters, and blankets, this class is suitable for all levels and is a perfect compliment to other more vigorous yoga practices. Experience includes storytelling, live music, chant (kirtan), and essential oils to support deep relaxation and vibrational healing.

SEED & SONG Yoga for Mom & Baby

Seed & Song harnesses the power of music and yoga to create spaces where mothers feel grounded, babies are engaged, and communities flourish. It is a unique class that blends together music therapy-based strategies and yoga for both mom and baby ages 0-12 months. Come ready to practice light yoga postures with an emphasis on building strength and ways to include your little one into your practice. This is a slower paced class designed to help you reach a state of deep relaxation. Restorative asanas (postures) are held for 10-20 minutes to allow the body to fully surrender. Props such as blocks, bolsters, and blankets are utilized extensively to achieve fully supported postures that can allow the body and mind to rest completely.  Come dressed cozy and prepare to be guided through meditation with healing vibrational music. Get ready to feel refreshed and recharged from this deeply transformative practice.
